A good majority of mothers all across the country work in various capacities as career climbing executive, entrepreneur and home makers.
Moms play major roles in the the society. Through their work at home, at the office and in our communities, they provide support within their families, works, businesses. Through volunteers they run or actively participate in the many support organisations within the community.
Moms also serve on the leadership teams of Government and Public sector, private organisations, Entrepreneurship and NGO’s where they are given the opportunity to exert their influence.
It’s with these facts in mind that the Working Moms Awards, organised by Working Moms Africa Magazine, Africa’s leading publication for working women published by The Access Media Limited is scheduled to take place at Eko Hotel and Suits, Victoria Island, Lagos, on December 6th, 2014.
The Working Moms Awards 2013 will provide working women from across Nigeria with an opportunity to be recognised and nominated for their contributions in the world of work, family and community as well as win an award.
Mrs. Mary Ikoku, the founder of Moms Africa Initiative is the founder and brainchild behind the prolific Working Moms Awards, which it founded in 2013 in Nigeria to highlight and recognise the achievements of Mothers within the family and wider society.
It is Mary’s aim that the Working Moms Awards becomes recognised for acknowledging excellence and achievements
